Gulf Coast Dachshund Rescue is made up of several volunteers across the Gulf States. We are incorporated in Louisiana, but we have members in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Our group strives to rescue as many dachshunds as we can, but the task is not an easy one. There are certainly more dachshunds than foster homes, so we are always in need of help. Foster Home Criteria:

- fenced yard

- current pets are spayed/neutered

- current pets are current on vaccinations/heartworm preventative
