This little doxy mix has been named perfectly.  His name says everything about his personality! His ears are quite comical, as they typically stand straight up!!

Bug is a very affectionate rescue baby.  Just one year old, he is developing into a very confident and loving boy.  He loves to climb all over his human, and rest his face on the top of your face!  He is a Velcro dog in every terms of the word.  He wants to be right by your side and part of everything you do.

Bug rides well in the car after his excited stage of 3 minutes when first gets in the car.  He likes to ride on either passenger or drivers lap.

He is crate trained, house-trained, and piddle pad trained!  He has had no accidents in the home!

He would love a home with other small companions dog or cat.  He wants someone to play with and does not differentiate!  He will chase anything that runs; child, dog, or cat.

Bug is a little timid of new people and young children that are loud, or have lots of fast hand movement.  He quickly warms up, and at the end of the day, he is back to his primary MO of play, play, and play.

Bug is your typical pup that loves walks and lots of hugs, kisses, and belly rubs.

Bug is also a great alert system.  He lets you know if he hears something strange outside, or unknown voices at the door, but does not excessively bark.

This little man learns quickly.  He comes on command by name in the house.  We are working on this outside.  He likes to jump for a treat.  He respects baby gates, and understands the 'No' command stopping whatever he is doing immediately.  He is hilarious as he runs like a gazelle in the yard looking for bugs to catch or explore new smells.  He is a very smart and happy little guy.

Bug has been one of the best fosters I have ever had.  If you want a dog that makes you laugh and smile, he will do this for you all day long!  If you want a little man to snuggle with on the couch or in bed, he is the answer.  If you are interested in providing this wonderful second chance Happy Bug a home, please fill out an application!   We look forward to meeting you!
