Jackson is a great old boy.  He was dropped off at a very small shelter because he was too old according to his owners.  When we got Jackson from the shelter is teeth were so infected he could not eat.  He was taken to the vet and given an emergency dental.  They had to pull most of his teeth to get rid of all the infection.  He now has only six teeth, but does not seem to mind at all.  His dachshund appetite has kicked back in and he is eating just fine.  Even though Jackson is a little older he would make a great addition.  Dachshunds usaully live into there teens and he deserves a place to call his own for his last years.  Please consider giving this old boy and warm bed.
